For my next trick - even more about me

Ok, here is the new tag I got from teh. It's "More about me that you ever wanted to know", but she made me tell ya.

What I was doing 10 years ago (Oct 1995) ~
I was closing on my first house. As a single mom, I scrimped and saved and bought my own house. Little did I know that I would soon be meeting my DH and selling it.

What I was doing 5 years ago (Oct 2000) ~
Working for the same company I work at now (I've been there 11 years) as a Personal Insurance Consultant. Trust me, the title was much better than the job. Had been married just under 2 years and we were trying to have a baby.

What I was doing 1 year ago (Oct 2004) ~
I had changed positions from a Personal Insurance Consultant to the Training Coordinator. More importantly, I was getting struck with the news that I was going to be a grandmother grandmommy.

Yesterday ~
I spent my day playing with Doodlebug. We also went with Easily Amused to Big Lots and spent more money. (Thanks Crayonz this is all your fault. I had avoided the store for several months until you mentioned it again. Bwaaaaaaa) and then we went to Applebees for lunch. Last night after the Doodlebug went to her Mommy's : ( I started working on a CSI puzzle that EA had passed on to me.

Today ~
1) Slept in really late ( I woke up in the middle of the night with a migrane and it hasn't totally left yet)

Hey girlie, whirlie!! I just did this one today (Monday)...alright, I did most of it (teacher checks "Does not follow directions")...

RE: five years ago...Imagine Doodlebug having an aunt that was about her own age...wild and cool...

By Blogger Mama Duck, at 10/03/2005 11:50 PM

melissa - I'm not so sure that you want to hear me sing. EA and I have an agreement that we will never ever rag on each other's singing as neither one of us can, yet both love to.

crayonz - sorry, but it's all teh's fault. LOL

michelle - thank you. Isn't it amazing how much you discover you have in common with someone that you have never met? It freaked me out a little at first when I realized how much teh (sorry, I just can't get to call her Tammy yet) and I are alike.

EA - Yes, I love the new nostalgic look. Wa this my age or her age. LOL

Yes, you know you would be counted in the share of the $. But my thoughts are if you didn't like me and didn't speak to me before I got the $, don't bother after.

crayonz - have you ever really eaten old crayolas? LOL

Mama Duck - thanks for doing the tag. Yes, it would have been very strange. I guess God really did know what he was doing when I had that miscarriage. (ohhh, I actually typed it without crying, thanks to having Doodlebug!)

Sidenote of more than you asked for...it has already happened in my DH's family. His Dad remarried for the 3rd or 4th time (about 10 or so years ago) and this time, his step mom is only 1 year older than him and they have a 7 year old daughter now.
