To Doodlebug... with love

Dear Sweet Little Girl,

Happy ½ Birthday as you are 6 months old today!

You have grown oh so much so fast. It is hard to believe that it has already been 6 months since the day you were born and your Daddy placed your small body in my arms.

Your 100 Watt Smile and Sweet Disposition brightens our days and nights.

These are your 6 month pictures that Grandpa and I took you to get done this past weekend.
I thought for this occasion, that I would put together a small list of some of the wonderful things you have experienced and discovered over the past 6 months.

You have found your voice and you love to talk, squeal and laugh.

Sucking on your thumb or 3 of your fingers seems to give you great soothing pleasure.

Baths are always something you enjoy, especially when we let the water sprinkle over your little body.

Anytime you are outside, you are simply in awe and thrilled to see all the sites.

You now have perfected the art of giving a Raspberry. (especially when eating)

Your feet seem to give you countless entertainment. Sometimes you like to just hold them and other times, you like to suck on your big toes.

Tummy Time is your favorite. Anytime we put you down, you immediately roll onto your tummy to play. (This makes diaper changing especially hard.)

You have learned to scooch yourself all over the place using your feet and legs. I find you all over your bed each morning. You also feel you must climb up all people until your tummy is on their shoulder and your upper body is flying midair.

Bubbles seem to amaze you. Yes, we have blown many soapy bubbles in the house for your amazement.

Your favorite toy in the world is your Walker, also referred to as your Zoom Zoom. You love nothing more then to stand in it and play with all the buttons on it. You have now been able to go backwards and forwards in small steps. Soon, you will be completely mobile and there will be no stopping you.

When you feel up to the task, you can hold your own bottle while you drink.

You have discovered the wonderful taste of food. You are still on the Gerber Step 1 Fruits and Vegetables, but you love them so.

You have now figured out how to get up on your knees with your little behind up in the air, I am sure you will be crawling very soon.

Your newest and latest fascination is cups. You feel you must grab everyone’s cup to try to drink out of it. You also let us know if we are not sharing with you properly.

You are truly a blessing… our sweet little angel girl. I look forward to sharing more memories with you.

Happy 6 Months… I Love You Doodlebug!

Love,
Grandma

That was so great, kgrams. Congratulations, Doodlebug! Don't ever lose that 100 Watt smile and swee disposition, sweetie. Happy homes make happy babies.

Should we start looking into flight school for this little thrillseeker? Ha!

Flower Faerie Momma,

Thank you and welcome to my blog, so nice of you to visit.

Yes, they are at a magical age. I can't seem to get enough of her, even when she is having her special moments like this post or, tonight when she decided to urp on me and in my hair.
