It was another run about crazy kinda weekend. However, I did make it by
On the Go's house for a candle party. Look at Doodlebug and her new cousin... aren't they just too cute together.

I believe I'm done now and have returned to the world of happy camper land. WOO HOO
To prove that it really wasn't that difficult and that I am pretty easy to please, it only took 3 things to occur in the same day/night...
1) Sweet email from a friend
2) A great passed out kinda nights sleep (no alcohol was even involved)
3) Construction worker doing a double take and stare at me this morning
Let's be honest, that last one did wonders for my ego (I didn't tell hubby, but the guy was pretty good looking himself). So much in fact, that I actually thought about turning my vehicle around and going back. LOL
Now, I know I didn't accomplish the 2 tasks that I set out for last Friday night and no, I'm not giving up hope on them. After all, happy camper land is one thing, but euphoria is a whole different world that I wouldn't mind visiting.

Yes, I am still in a pissy funk. Not sure what my problem is, but it seems that many others are going through the same thing right now.
So I have realized, that some days nothing works in my favor. Case in point...
Friday afternoon, Lumpy suggested we go out drinking and dancing as I had a really long and frustrating week. I was in total agreement and stated what I really needed was to get drunk and laid. So we go out with a bunch of co-workers and start drinking. Then we meet up with my brother-in-law for drinks & dinner. Afterwards, he takes us to a bar for more drinking and we play pool (or at least try to) and darts. As I'm drinking at the bar, I have a major reality check... hello, you have a 20 month old at home who is going to be up at 7:00. I'm thinking hangover and toddler just are a good combination. So much for the getting drunk part.
I resign myself to not drinking anymore and go home around midnight or so. Guess who's still up? Yep Doodlebug is still up running around. Well, so much for the getting laid part. Damn children have a way of screwing up your fun.
My Wednesday night is free, anyone want to go out and help my accomplish my goals from Friday???
