The things that make girls happy
Hi everyone, I'm sure you remember me, my name is Doodlebug. I'm taking over Gma's blog tonight.Gma has been very sad since my Daddy decided to go live with his gma and gpa (she's been putting on a very brave face for me, but I know better). So she decided that she and I both deserved a special gift and went shopping. Want to see what we got???
This is what Gma got me.
Yes, this is not my best photo, but in my defense, I was not feeling well and found out today that I have another ear infection.
As you can see here, my second time down really perked me up. Gma knows just the right medicine to make me feel better.
In case you were wondering... yes, it is in the middle of the living room. Gma says that if we can find another one at a yard sale (real cheap) for outside, that we can keep this one inside all year long (She mentioned something about Missouri having a lot of cold, hot and rainy weather and then the fact that she needs something inside to help burn all my extra energy. I don't get it but hey if it means two slides, I'm all for it).

Now I don't get this one at all, it doesn't look near as much fun as my new slide, but it sure made Gma happy to get it. Seriously???
Aunt T, Gma said to tell you not to start whining, as it's only Wednesday and tomorrow is Tantrum Thursday. Oh, she also said you can borrow it and watch it if you want.

Love the new slide Doodlebug - you know you need to give your G'ma tons of extra hugs and kisses since your daddy moved. Okay?
I hope she can find another one for you - you would have so much fun outside with it too!
Oh... I am gonna have to update my Netflix account and get that... I am so jealous....

Ha! You got it! (Sorry, I know I should be more excited about DB's slide...)
I had mine for less than 24 hours before I had finished all 9 episodes. I'm a freak.
Anywho... sorry to hear about the ear infection. :( Mean ol' ear infections.

HA! I had to get Lauren one of those a few weeks ago! That's what she was sitting on during her tiger impersonation. I never thought about putting a pillow at the end, though. Now that is clever.
You get better, soon, Little DB. That kgrams needs all your love right now. And if you can't, Mr. McDreamy will be a quite distant second.

We will definitely be checking out the yard sales next month.

Missy - Slides are like shoes, you can never have enough. LOL Thank you, but we actually feel very lucky to have her in our lives. Glad to hear from another GA fan!
Melissa - No, you don't have to be more excited about the slide, GA is definitely better for us. Due to sicky girl, I hope to have a Sunday marathon (I'll be home by myself all day) of GA.
Cat - Definitely go shopping. However, keep in mind that it just came out 2/14 and it took me 5 stores to find it.
Crayonz - Our little girls are definitely spoiled huh. It's a shame they only go up to 45 lbs cause I could just picture you going down it too. LOL We had to do the pillow when she decided to lean over 1/2 way down and hit the floor face first. She was laughing and loving it, but we kept thinking carpet burn on the face was just not a good thing.
Tammy - Thank you. Hmmmm, my laptop is supposed to have a DVD burner. I guess I need to play with that this weekend.
EA - I'm guessing you didn't catch that Doodlebug said it in the post. And they say blondes are slow. Seriously!
We are actually thinking of getting rid of the furniture and turning it into a playroom.
You can borrow it as soon as I get done drooling over, I mean watching it.
